Dear Katie, Really sorry to hear you were in hospital over the weekend and that you've had such bad pain. I look at what you've been through Feb to now and I'm in awe of your courage and strength as you get through this treatment. Wishing you a better week ahead and that you'll be home soon. Thanks for posting your calendar of what's been going on over the last few months. Wow - I felt exhausted just READING about all the doctors appointments/chemo and radio treatments/hospital in-patient times etc - I can't imagine how tired you are from actually LIVING it. I do hope that somewhere in all of this....you are able to find time for you to be you....enjoying a coffee with friends, sitting in the sun, watching a movie or whatever takes your fancy. When cancer and its required treatment take up so much of your time it is easy to not be able to separate Katie from cancer. But I hope that we (all your friends and family and internet interlopers like me) never forget that you are NOT Katie Who Has Cancer - you are just Katie :) - Penny (formerly FCS - gotta use a real name sometime hey!)
